World Championships 2010
Fundraising and Sponsorship

This year we have 4 students who have been selected from our South Hams Martial Arts Schools to represent Team UK in Kick Boxing and Taekwon-do. We also have 2 more colleagues within our partnership group, South Coast Martial Arts, in Plymouth who also have been selected for the Taekwon-do World Championships.

‘With each member having to pay approx £1400 for their place to Korea and approx £700 for the Kick Boxing Worlds, there is quite a lot of work involved to try to raise this sort of money to help each of them out. The amount of money that each student has to pay out does not stop there, as there are compulsory training sessions with about 3 hours drive to get there each time, this will add to their financial load. If you can help in anyway, with donations, ideas, sponsors, then please let us know, but in the meanwhile a great big thanks to those that have helped so far.’
