Rachel, although fairly new on the taekwon-do scene has had many successes so far. Her first ever competiiton was at the WOrld Kup Championships in Birmingham in Aug 2007, where she won Gold medal in yellow belt ladies patterns. She later competed in the British PUMA championships and won silver in patterns and silver in sparring. She also won the Dartmouth student of the Year Award for 2007, at the annual South Hams Martial Arts Awards ceremony. Rachel obviously likes working with children as she has recently taken over the role of Little Dragons Instructor, as well as helper to the Junior class. She also works at Blackawton Primary School.
