Claire Roughley 2nd Degree
Assistant Instructor Totnes & Dartmouth

Claire is a recently qualified 2nd Degree Taekwon-do Black Belt and Assistant Instructor, who runs classes at Dartmouth and Totnes. She is the first female to attain 2nd degree at her Totnes school. Ms Roughley is also a 2nd degree in Karate and spent many years training under WTF Taekwon-do before settling here at the South Hams Taekwon-do schools. She is a succesful competitor, with many wins under her belt, currently British Bronze Medalist in Patterns, beating many national squad members. She has also been approached by the PUMA National Squad Coach, who invited her to attend squad training, for training up for future events in sparring and patterns.

2004 - British Bronze Medallist for Sparring
2005 - English Gold medallist for Destruction and Silver for Patterns, Northern Bronze Sparring Champion 2006 - Scottish Gold Patterns Champion, British Bronze Medalist for Patterns

Results 2007 - Member of Team UK at ITF World Championships, Silver Medal Patterns, English Champs & British Championships, Gold Medal - Bo Patterns, British Championships
