First Little PUMA™ Black Belts for Dartmouth!  More

Congratulations to Corinne Sri Widada (2nd degree), Claire Roughley (2nd Degree), Roxanne Winzer (2nd degree) and Bob Janes (1st degree) who all passed their black belt gradings

Congratulations to Martin Luker now 2nd degree Black Belt and to Daniel Henderson now 1st Degree Black Belt, both of the Totnes Club.

Dan got credit pass for 1st degree, and Martin got Credit pass for 2nd degree as well as the sword award for best black belt at the spirit test. well done boys.  more (See gallery for images)

I have great pleasure in letting you know that we now have another master in P.U.M.A.

Master Ogborne VII was promoted at the 40th year celebration of the ITF. I'm so proud of Master Ogborne he's a great person who deserves this accolade and I'm honoured to call him a friend. Nice one Master Ogborne!

Little Puma™ Grading Feb/March 2006

Students from Little PUMA™ clubs across the South Hams took part in gradings at the end of February. The 48 students, aged between 4 and 6, all passed, with some exceptional students also awarded with credits and grading awards. Three new students were also welcomed into their club, receiving a certificate after performing some basic martial arts movements. More

PUMA Northern Championships 2006

On Saturday 4th March 7 students from the South Hams Taekwon-do Schools made the 5 hour journey to Chesterfield for the 2006 Northern Championships. The tournament started well for the club, with Yanni Barnett winning gold medals in the first two events of the day – Little PUMA™ patterns and high kick. The club continued this success throughout the day with the final tally an impressive 16 medals. More

 

PUMA Southern Championships and Coloured Belt Grading- 18th February 2006

Students from the South Hams Taekwon-do clubs took part in the first Professional Unification of Martial Arts (PUMA) Southern Championships held at Torbay Leisure Centre on Saturday 18th February. The 25 students from Lesley McGhie’s schools took home an impressive 24 medals between them. More
